Released in December 2018, Samini’s ‘Untamed’ album has achieved a feat on that no African album has achieved, ever.
Voted 1st on Reggaeville’s Album of The Year 2018 for the Reggaeville Yearbook 2018, Samini’s Untamed has led the way for Reggae music from not only Ghana but Africa with recognition.
The Untamed album is a 22 track album that explores Samini’s songwriting skills interlaced with rhythmic beats that will get you tuned onto it once the first song begins to play.
The album was voted by Reggaeville users ahead of Alborosie Meets The Wailers United’s ‘Unbreakable’ album and Protege’s ‘A Matter Of Time’ album.
It amassed the largest percentage of votes form the over 2,500 registered users of Reggaeville.
Reggaeville is one of the largest online music magazines that is primarily dedicated to Reggae music.
In 2018, Stonebwoy’ Epistles Of Mama was voted 2nd, placing below Chronixx’ Chronology and ahead of Damian Marley’s Stony Hills.
