Falz - Johnny.mp3Nigerian rapper Folarin Falana better known as Falz is getting Nigerians talking over his newly released album ‘Moral Instruction‘.

‘Moral Instruction’ is a 9-track album released under his record label Bahd Guys Records. The music star featured a handful of artistes like Chillz, Demmie Vee and Sess.

The album cover art was done by Lemi Ghariokwu who was responsible for the cover arts of Fela’s albums. On the ‘Moral Instruction’ Falz sampled some of Fela’s works on tracks like ‘E No Finish’, ‘Follow Follow’, ‘Johnny’ etc. The entire LP carries a society conscious theme, as Falz talks politics, politicians, Yahoo Boys, Runs Girls, clerics and religion, police amongst other things.

The issues discussed in music form on the ‘Moral Instruction’ album are issues some Nigerian artistes avoid to touch. Only Fella Kuti was able to use his music as a medium of activism against the government, something the musician did too with his LP.

Nigerians have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on the album and the issues raised in it. Below are some of the reactions of Nigerians and what they had to say.
