It has been already 2 years of recognizing and awarding real music talent across the entire African continent and the Soundcity MVP Award Festival isn’t ready to back out of this endeavour.

The 2019 Soundcity MVP Awards will be held on the 5th of January 2019 from Eko Hotel Convention Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos.

This information comes alongside the publishing of selected nominations across over 14 distinguished categories within the length and breadth of the African music scene.

Our very own iconic acts from Ghana haven’t been left out as the Ghanaian industry can emphatically boast of 18 nominations this year as listed below;

Shatta Wale – Best Male MVP
Becca – Best Female MVP
Efya – Best Female MVP
Sarkodie – Best Hiphop MVP
Kwesi Arthur – Best Hiphop MVP
Medikal Best Hiphop MVP
Kuami Eugene – Best POP MVP
Gringo – Shatta Wale – Video of the year
