Prior to the release of her latest album, ‘Queen Solomon’, the ‘Jeje’ songstress, Sista Afia, held a pre-album listening for a selected few on the 26th of November 2018.
MC’d by Ghanaian comedian DKB, the event was graced by industry players, bloggers, celebrities and invited personalities at the Mensa Meeting Place inside East Legon.
During the event, Sista Afia auctioned off the first copy of the Queen Solomon album with a fan known as Nana Kay buying it for $10,000.
The 15-track album reflects Sista Afia’s true nature and it features hits like ‘Potato’, ‘Champion Atta’, ‘Ware Me’ among others and is set to make its mark on global music charts.
It includes collaborations with major names such as Shatta Wale, Flowking Stone, Kofi Kinaata, Medikal and Kelvynboy and is based on the love life of famous Bible character, King Solomon.
A pre-order of the album, which constitutes predominantly of a blend of Highlife and Afropop tunes, would be made available on all digital music stores on the 1st of December, 2018.
That day also doubles as the day of the ‘Queen Solomon Xplode’ concert at the West Hills Mall, headlined by yours truly, Sista Afia, and supported by Kelvynboy, Ponobiom, Gadam Nation president, Fancy Gadam, Medikal among others.
The much-anticipated album is set to be officially released for global consumption on the 10th of December,2018.
