Born in the busy city of Bariga, Lagos State, Nigeria. Timi Gbenga Samuel aka Gbangucci popularly known as SugarBoy or Sugarella amidst other notable aliases is a graduate of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba, Akoko, Ondo State where he bagged his first degree. His love for music started when he was in primary school (grade school) when he started as a child chorister at the church but he commercialized music when he left the shore of his fatherland.
He has done collaborations with major Nigerian artistes like Alhaji Alabi Pasuma aka Oganla, Remi Aluko Igwe CEO Toitoi Nation, Olamide Baddosneh among others.
His latest song titled Jaapa where he featured another energetic, brilliant and “woke” mind artiste who is based oversea by the name of Scooby Nero is yet another ear orgasm jams. When asked what inspired the title of the song, he said the true meaning of the song means being smart, sharp and a fast decision making ability of anyone means the person JAAPA. Let’s listen.
