Tim Godfrey, real names: Timothy Chukwudi Godfrey is a Nigerian Singer, songwriter, music director and producer.

Born in Kaduna State, Nigeria into the family of Mr and Mrs Victor Godfrey.

He had a flare for music at a young age and would always try to proof his mettle with grown ups.

Tim who started his full fledged music career in 2004 has risen to be one of Nigeria’s most exceptional gospel singers and have successfully carved out a distinct niche for himself in the gospel music scene.

He is the Nigerian version of Kirk Franklin and Tyre tibett combined.

His lane of music is void of competitions, no one does it better when it comes to crazy gospel and jaw dropping refurbishing of songs than Tim Godfrey.

He owns the “Xtreme” music group and together they’ve done and are still doing exploits with their kind of music you don’t get to hear every day.

He thrilled the audience together with his Xtreme crew at “THE EXPERIENCE” 2016 one of Africa’s most prodigious gospel concerts, with scintillating performances and unpredictable music detouring.

His Xtreme crew have presumably lost count of the plethora of gospel concerts they’ve featured in, thanks to their mesmerizing carriage and music style.

They’ve performed in South Africa during the Kora Awards in  2005, in Ghana during the Ghana Music Awards 2006.

They’ve  toured five (5) states in America in June 2006, inter-states tour with Nigeria’s elite gospel artistes organised by a UK based music company “SET HIM OFF MUSIC MINISTRIES” 2007.

The group have in their shelves among others, the best contemporary gospel group by Nigerian biggest Awards given body, Awards for Musical Excellence in Nigeria, AMEN AWARDS 2005.
