Nigerian singer Simisola Ogunleye has come a long way in her music career. The ‘Joromi’ crooner had been putting in a lot of work before she broke into limelight.

Recently, a series of tweets emerged when Simi was an upcoming artiste jostling to catch Don Jazzy’s attention. Simi had begged the Mavin Records boss to listen to her Mixtape some four years ago. It true she failed to get his attention at the time but her fortune changed nonetheless. She is now signed to X3M Music and has so far risen to be one of the best female artistes in Africa.
