Second edition of Flames Hiphop Concert happening on 20th July

Flames Hip-Hop Concert is an initiative started by Kenny Profit (Manager of the fast-rising Afro-Trap artiste, Slim Drumz) who is also the host of the event.

It stemmed from his love and passion for Hip-Hop and the desire to see that genre do well in Ghana.

Hence the main aim of the event is to give (underground) Hip-Hop artistes a platform and a chance to be heard, a chance to rub shoulders with key players in the industry and generally give them the confidence to pursue Hip-Hop music as most people believe Hip-Hop is not a genre that can ever survive in Ghana.

The Flames Hip-Hop Concert is emerging as the biggest Hip-Hop event in the country at the moment. The first edition was held on 20th April 2018, at a modern pub called Chekkers Pub in Adabraka.

It featured talented artistes who are now making waves, such as YawNanna, Kobby Keita, Ojo, Kobla Jnr, Stylin, Slim Drumz, Kev, Grenade, Phabrick and many more.

The “raw” nature of the event really appealed to Hip-Hop fans. Guess what? It was Free!!!!!!!!

And now…

After exactly 3 months, Flames Hip-Hop Concert is BACK with a second edition on 20th July 2018, tagged “Bigger Better Badder”.

The 2018 Flames Hip-Hop Concert will be held at the same venue (Chekkers Pub, Adabraka) and it will be hosted by the same MC Kenny Profit.

This time around the program is being supported/sponsored by Jameson Whisky and YFM. Among the line up of artistes performing include Raph Enzee, Quamina MP, Jason EL-A, AYAT, DopeNation, Magnom & Gemini.

There will even be a mini rap battle session brought to you by LyricalWars GH.

It’s a hell of an experience whether you are a fan of Hip-Hop or not. So if you love Hip-Hop or enjoy Ghanaian music then it’s the place to be!
