Ghanaian highlife legend , Jewel Ackah will be laid to rest on August 4, 2018 @ Axim in the Western Region.
The prolific composer, aged 73 is remembered for songs like “Joyce San Bra, “Abena”, Dear, “Kyer3 Mase, “Manye Yie , Asomdwe Hehe”, “Bodambo Bodambo” etc.
The Trail-blazer, affectionately called the Prince Of Highlife (Jewel Kofi Ackah) also Sang the Party Anthem for Ghana’s biggest Opposition party; The NDC.
His body will be laid in State at the Tema Community 11 Complex Park on Saturday August 4.
The highlife legend will be buried at his hometown; Axim, in the Western Region same day.
Colleague musicians, actors & top politicians including Ghana’s Former president – John Dramani Mahama; Who was his personal friend are expected to mourn with with the family.
He left behind 11 Children.
