Adekunle Gold

Nigerian singer and Ire crooner, Adekunle Gold might just be releasing Fame part 2 anytime soon because it looks like he didn’t say all he wanted to say in part 1 which you can find in his about 30 Album.

In an interview on No Ketchup with Joey Akan, the singer revealed that sometimes he wishes he can do without some of the things Fame comes with as they have robbed him of his normal life. The singer, he feels fame has changed how people, especially friends relate with him. In his words,

I want to be with my friends without them trying to take pictures with me.

To Adekunle Gold, if you take off the paparazzi from fame, he’ll be happy because with everyone asking for a selfie and trying to make a photo album off of him and can be really tiring. He also spoke about the inability to be free with his opinions due to societal expectation and this bothers him a lot especially on social media because he believes some people say things they shouldn’t and it’s worse when it’s transferred to him.

Adekunle Gold’s Fame talked about this issue but apparently, he is not done with people who impose their opinions on them. He released his second album, About 30, on May 25th and the album has been getting great reviews.
