Moelogo Addresses Key Industry Break-Ups on Unreleased Single “IMAJIN” | LISTEN

So, I woke up this morning and, first thing I saw on my TL was a tweet from Moelogo airing his struggles in relation to releasing a song he recorded 2 years ago. It turns out it’s a Pheelz-produced track he actually sent to me back in 2016, but never put out due to the sensitive nature of its lyrics.

Now, the old Ovie wouldn’t warn you before leaking your record. But now, I’m a changed man; I warn you ahead of time.

“IMAJIN” is a beautiful prayer; one that highlights major broken relationships like 9ice & ID Cabasa, Toke Makinwa and her husband, Tiwa Savage & Tee-Billz, Wizkid and Tania Omotayo, as well as a massive throwback to the Biblical story of Judas Iscariot & Jesus Christ. In it, Moelogo prays we don’t have to go through such pain in our own lives.
